R&D expertise in several fields of biotechnology including
molecular biology, in vitro culture and genetic
testing/analyses. Current areas of interest include
commercial development of genetically engineered
disease-resistant grapevine varieties, which are now in field
tests, and exploratory research with other crops, including
citrus. Research projects targeted to increase the efficiency
of biofuel production are in
development.
